Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology, as well as the ability to assist in various aspects of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards.
- Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and medical coding.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices is essential.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus.
- Ability to take accurate X-rays and understand radiographic principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
