Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, following all local building codes and plumbing standards.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
- Perform pipe threading, pipe installation, gas piping system setup, and assembly using hand tools, power tools, and equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
- Adhere to safety regulations during all phases of work, including heavy lifting, construction site safety protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on construction plans, remodeling projects, or site-specific tasks while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project progress, issues, or recommendations for system improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial environments.
- Journeyman plumber demonstrating mastery of plumbing skills.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and understanding building code compliance requirements.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other related tools.
- Knowledge of plumbing building codes, safety regulations, gas piping systems, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various construction site conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with construction site experience including remodeling projects or maintenance operations is preferred.
- Service and repair, ability to operate cable drum snake and jetting machines.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and system design.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving duties if required; experience with construction site travel is a plus.

Pay: $39.65 - $47.75 per hour
