We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and companionship. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Lift and transfer clients safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Previous experience in patient care or home health is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Background in social work or nursing is a plus for understanding client needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately while being flexible to adapt to changing needs.
- Must be physically capable of lifting clients and performing tasks that require strength and stamina.
