Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Terrain Park Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant park facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. This role involves terrain park development and maintenance, supervising staff, and ensuring the park operates smoothly while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage park operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
- Ensure daily inspections are conducted in accordance with NSAA Terrain Park guidelines.
- Oversee event management, including planning, execution, and post-event evaluations.
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient shift management.
- Ensure the proper operation and troubleshooting of all equipment including: snowmobiles, snowcats, excavators, snow moving equipment and various hand and power tools.
- Commit to education and implementation of all safety and risk management policies.
- Develop Terrain Park Manual in partnership with management.
Experience
- Prior experience in use of snowcat, skidder, backhoe, brush saw chainsaw and similar construction/landscaping equipment.
- Prior experience working outdoors all day and in variable weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license
- Advanced proficiency in skiing or snowboarding is a plus.
