Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailer, flatbed, and tanker operations. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong focus on safety and customer service is essential.
3000-5000 performance based sign on bonus (paid throughout first year of employment)
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks with manual transmission, ensuring safe handling of various loads.
- Transport goods using refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized vehicles as required.
- Load and unload freight securely and efficiently, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety compliance.
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while minimizing fuel consumption.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving and freight handling.
- Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including dump trucks and roll-off trucks is preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
- Experience in delivery driver roles is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining logs and records.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Pay: $70,499.20 - $135,246.35 per year
