Schedule: Full-Time Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 4 nights one week / 3 nights the next week | Rotating weekends
Pay Range: $34.20 – $51.34 per hour

Position Overview
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI imaging procedures while delivering safe, compassionate patient care. This role works closely with radiologists, providers, and imaging team members to ensure accurate imaging and excellent patient outcomes.
Technologists are responsible for completing provider-ordered MRI procedures according to established protocols while maintaining compliance with MRI safety, patient care, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
Obtain patient history and complete MRI safety screenings and documentation
Operate MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment safely and effectively
Maintain high-quality imaging standards to support accurate diagnoses
Communicate with radiologists and providers regarding imaging protocols when needed
Maintain compliance with MRI safety standards and regulatory guidelines
Coordinate with care teams to support efficient patient workflow
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with department standards
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program required
Certifications
ARRT(R) required
MRI registry required within 12 months of hire
BLS certification required
Additional Requirements
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Commitment to safety, quality, and patient-centered care
Prior MRI experience preferred, but technologists growing into MRI may be considered
Technologists who are not yet MRI registered will have 12 months to complete their MRI registry, and the facility will cover the cost of certification.
