Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic practices and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals facing various mental health challenges. The therapist will utilize evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Compensation
- $60-$70 per 60 min session
Responsibilities
- We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapists to join our team in a telehealth-only, part-time role. This position offers the flexibility to create your own schedule while we build your caseload for you through referrals as they come in.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, including those with PTSD, addiction issues, and developmental disabilities.
- Facilitate family counseling sessions and support parents in understanding their child's mental health needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.
- Engage in crisis management and behavior management strategies as needed.
- Provide telehealth services as required, ensuring accessibility for all clients.
- Provide individual therapy sessions via secure telehealth platform for clients ages 13+ (licensed to provide therapy to minors).
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and work toward treatment goals
- Uphold professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Experience/Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Current Nevada state licensure( No interns at this time please)
- A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; licensure as a mental health professional is required (LCSW, LMFT, CPC).

- Comfortable with technology and telehealth platforms
- Experience with child & family counseling, crisis intervention, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Previous hospital or clinic experience is beneficial; experience in inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical records management is essential.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, case management, and direct support are necessary for this role.
