Field Service Technician Copiers and Printers (Customer-Focused)

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and keeping machines operating at peak performance.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment efficiently to minimize downtime
- Complete service calls daily while managing time and parts effectively
- Maintain low recall rates (10% or less) through quality workmanship
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide outstanding service
- Use laptops, mobile tools, and technical support resources to troubleshoot issues
- Stay up to date through ongoing technical training and product education
- Maintain organized and accurate vehicle stock to reduce repeat visits
- Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, and team members
- Represent the company professionally at all times (appearance, conduct, and vehicle)
- Support team goals and assist in other territories as needed
· Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and technical support teams to escalate complex issues, obtain technical assistance, and implement solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Willingness to travel locally (up to 90%)
- Experience servicing or operating postage machines and folder/inserter equipment is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs frequently
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
