The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, resident-centered care while assisting residents with daily living activities and promoting comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you'll play an essential role in helping residents enjoy the highest possible quality of life.
Provide exceptional care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene
Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility
Answer resident call lights promptly and professionally
Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition
Assist with meals, hydration, and resident comfort
Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms
Change bed linens and assist with routine resident care
Accurately document care provided
Follow infection prevention and infection control procedures
Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Treat every resident with dignity, compassion, and respect
Current Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Successful completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program
Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred
Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, or assisted living is preferred but not required
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
Strong communication and customer service skills
