Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our dynamic team specializing in lawn care and party rental services. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining beautiful landscapes, ensuring the proper setup and breakdown of party equipment, and supporting various maintenance tasks. This position offers an energetic work environment where your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our operations. Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy, attractive lawns.
- Assist with landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, weeding, and soil preparation.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping and construction projects.
- Support installation and removal of party rentals, including tents, tables, chairs, and other event equipment.
- Conduct basic maintenance on equipment like lawnmowers, trimmers, excavators, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Aid in hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, or retaining walls under supervision.
- Help with general site cleanup and organization to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with landscaping or construction equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture principles.
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, excavators or other machinery used in outdoor projects.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and tree care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; eager to learn new skills on the job.
- Prior experience in landscaping, hardscape installation or snow plowing is advantageous but not required. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
