Duties
- Install, service, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, plumbing connections, and refrigeration components to identify root causes of malfunctions.
- Perform equipment troubleshooting using hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment to restore system functionality efficiently.
- Conduct routine HVAC system maintenance to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all mechanical systems operate smoothly within building infrastructure.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and offering practical solutions that meet client needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a strong background as an HVAC service technician.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration technology.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, installation, and preventative maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge of various heating and cooling systems including boilers, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and mechanical issues efficiently using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications such as HVAC/R or Building Automation Systems are a plus.
- Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and building codes relevant to HVAC work.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for travel between job sites.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Pay: $25.75 - $31.01 per hour
