Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Line Cook for Cheesesteaks and sandwiches
- Handle food preparation tasks such as dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, equipment, and workstations
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations to promote a safe dining environment
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or seasonal specials to excite our guests
- Support catering orders and special events by preparing large quantities of pizza efficiently
- Serve finished pizzas promptly while maintaining quality standards and presentation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments with a focus on pizza or similar dishes
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling practices
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking methods, and food industry standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with dietary department guidelines and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward customer service
