JN Group Inc. is now hiring for an Intermediate or higher Level Service Technician at our Jaguar Land Rover Location.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles.
- Create a work order and perform repairs after receiving the customer’s approval of the repair order.
- Maintain and grow customer satisfaction.
- Meet productivity and efficiency goals.
- Maintaining and exceeding minimum shop production standards.
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and done safely.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Advise Service Consultant immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Properly document work performed.
- Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test-technician, keeping in mind those customers’ vehicles cannot be used for personal errands.
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes and complete web-based training as required by the manufacturer.
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
- Ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean.
- Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
- Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed.
- Maintain a high degree of courtesy.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent. Mechanical aptitude is required.
- Must have knowledge of different engines, components, and systems.
- Must have experience in manual dexterity, able to operate, understand and is comfortable with a wide variety of hand tools and equipment.
- Foreign Make and Model experience, helpful.
- ASE Certification a plus.
- Possession of a valid and current Safety Inspector’s License, a plus.
- Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle abstract.

Compensation range is based on qualifications.
