Role Overview
The Automotive Parts Shipping and Receiving role is responsible for the accurate handling, storage, and movement of automotive components, ensuring smooth material flow between suppliers, the service shop, and customers. This role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting production schedules, and supporting efficient operations
Responsibilities

Receive and process all parts orders

Restock inventory as needed

Create bin locations for new stock

Notify customer on parts arrival.

Notify parts manager of shortage & damage discrepancies

Prepare items for returns and shipping

Prepare wholesale orders for deliveries

Process Warranty scrap

Keep parts department in a neat and orderly fashion

Assist customers as needed

Train for advancement to counterperson

Utilize Dealertrack DMS for inventory control and parts invoicing

Use Snap On parts cataloging for parts lookup
-
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.

Requirements
- Parts or Service Automotive experience a plus

Clean driving record and a valid driver's license

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
Work Environment

Employee may be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, wide temperature variances and hazardous materials. May be required to lift heavy parts and equipment up to 75 lbs.
