Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Vacation Rental Cleaner to ensure our properties are spotless, welcoming, and ready for guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across multiple vacation rental units. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of vacation rental units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, mops, scrubbers, and cleaning cloths to ensure all surfaces are sanitized and presentable.
- Manage the safe handling and application of chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and safety protocols.
- Conduct heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment to facilitate deep cleaning or maintenance tasks.
- Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to maintain consistency and quality standards across all properties.
- Adhere to sanitation guidelines and hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper storage and functionality for ongoing use.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning environments with custodial expertise.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning, vacuuming, and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks; familiarity with SDS is preferred.
- Excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving furniture or equipment efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively during unforeseen incidents.
- Experience with cleaning equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance at all times.
