At Assisting Hands Home Care, we are seeking a dependable, compassionate night-shift specialist to provide dedicated 1-on-1 end-of-life care for a hospice client during Monday - Thursday overnight hours. We need a vigilant, gentle caregiver to ensure client safety, comfort, and peace of mind throughout the night.
Shift Details & Exact Schedule
We are looking for coverage across the following week night schedule (32/week total):
Monday - Thursday: 11p - 7a

- Pay: $15.00 – $17.00/hour (Based on experience & CNA status)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Remaining 100% awake, alert, and responsive throughout all overnight shifts.
Providing gentle repositioning, turning, and personal hygiene/incontinence care to maintain skin integrity and comfort.

Observing changes in comfort, breathing, or distress and communicating effectively with the hospice team.

Assisting with the Monday morning handoff to daytime staff at 8:00 AM.

Requirements
- Experience Required: Minimum 1+ years of caregiving with direct hospice, end-of-life, or overnight care experience. CNA certification strongly preferred.
- Vigilance & Reliability: Proven ability to stay alert through the night and ironclad weekend attendance.
- General Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a High School Diploma/GED, have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and pass a background check.
