Experienced Carpenter
Overview
Blackwater Builders is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our growing team building high-quality custom homes throughout the Grand Rapids, MN area.
We’re looking for a skilled, professional carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works efficiently, and can contribute to our team with minimal supervision. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about building exceptional homes, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
● Perform residential framing, roofing, siding, and finish carpentry
● Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
● Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
● Work independently and as part of a team
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
● Deliver quality workmanship with attention to detail
Qualifications
● Minimum of 2 years of residential carpentry experience required
● Experience with a professional residential construction company or custom home builder strongly preferred
● Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building practices
● Ability to accurately read a tape measure and blueprints
● Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
● Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions

Pay
Starting at $25+/hour, based on experience. Compensation is negotiable after the initial trial period based on performance, reliability, and skill level.
