We're looking for an experienced Appliance Installation Service Manager to lead our installation team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and drive operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing installation operations, developing employees, improving processes, and ensuring safe, high-quality installations for homeowners, builders, and multifamily customers.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop installation technicians and support staff
- Manage scheduling, staffing, productivity, quality, and department performance
- Recruit, train, engage, and retain top talent
- Partner with Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Resolve escalated customer concerns and drive issues to completion
- Monitor safety, service, and operational performance metrics
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Manage labor resources and schedules to support business demands
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on installation-related issues
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- 5+ years of appliance installation or related field service experience
- Proven leadership, customer service, and communication skills
- Experience leading installation, delivery, service, or home services teams preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology; ERP experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
