Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Deburring and Polishing Specialist, where your precision and attention to detail will help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. In this role, you will be responsible for refining metal components through deburring and polishing processes, enhancing surface finishes, and preparing parts for assembly or shipment. Responsibilities
- Operate various finishing machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and manual hand tools to remove burrs and smooth surfaces on metal parts
- Use precision measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and surface quality according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and production specifications to ensure accurate deburring and polishing procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production, including proper handling of industrial equipment and materials
- Troubleshoot minor issues with machinery such as CNC equipment or fabrication tools to minimize downtime
- Assist in setup and calibration of equipment like press brake machines or flexo presses when needed for specific finishing tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing or factory environments with hands-on machine operation skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, shop math, and dimensional measurement tools effectively
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including proper use of hand tools and industrial equipment troubleshooting
- Experience with materials handling, packaging, assembly line processes, tooling, welding, or fabrication is advantageous
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory
