Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our new net operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all regulations, while leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Schedules and monitors site production and the TAC Associates and temporary employees in new net and other production: Trains assigns and supervises production team; maintains job performance evaluation of temps and participates in quarterly and semi-annual reviews for TAC Associates; monitors and ensures compliance of departmental policies/procedures; performs job training with staff as needed; monitors attendance. Participates in organizing, monitoring immediate workplace per policy and procedure
2. In a team setting, participates in developing and implementing production programs; assists in developing and/or implementing production layouts and improvements; assists with input. Assists in receipt of leave requests and recommends in the hiring process; assists and follows through on staff meetings, staff input and other team member input and communications.
3. Maintains records and daily reports, including but not limited to attendance, incident reports including accident/injury safety review, inventory, work orders, quality assurance documents and job scheduling as needed. Directs movement of products to and from designated work areas.
4. Oversees and monitors immediate workplace, including but not limited to quality assurance: job set up, quality control standards; ensures workers are assigned to work tasks; monitors production and timelines as assigned, reorders supplies and inspects reject items for repair or return. Assists with safe and healthy work environment. Assists with preparation of products and finished goods for shipping, assists with processing shippers and monitoring material movement per work specifications. Assists with reviews of all finished goods and assures quality, inventory control, assists with scheduling pick up and deliveries.
5. Attends meetings and training sessions as required; assists with staff on work related issues, e.g., new Policies and Procedures; promotes good public relations with outside agencies, customers, etc.; assists with loading and unloading of trucks; assists with fire and tornado drills as required; performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
1. Strong leadership skills
2. Negative results of a Drug Screening.
3. Satisfactory results of Local and State Records background check.
4. Valid state driver’s license with less than 6 points on Drivers Abstract.
5. Satisfactory physical examination
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
POST HIRE REQUIRED TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATION, AND LICENSURE:
First Aid/CPR, Specific job duties, Completion of TAC Enterprises orientation, Maintain Valid Driver’s License
RELATED FUNCTIONS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs other duties assigned by the Operations Manager
2. Manage/Supervise/Evaluation of Associates.
3. Implement and maintain quality, production, shipping documentation military shipments
4. Call / set up carrier pick up for military shipments
5. Daily quality assurance inspection on nets
6. Oversee shipping and receiving of all incoming/outgoing product as well as documentation of the same
7. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies, raw materials and sub assemblies
8. Keep weekly new net inspection summary
9. Track rejected nets / summarize.
10. Monitor / prepare rejected / return products
11. Track employees’ time/job assignments
12. Keep attendance records/complete time sheets
13. Work with staffing agencies for current temporary staff/replacements.
