Los Angeles Skilled Nursing Facility Seeking HR Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment efforts to ensure the facility attracts qualified candidates who align with the organization’s mission and values.
- Handle employee relations matters, addressing workplace concerns and fostering a supportive environment for all staff members.
- Lead training and development programs will be a key focus, ensuring employees have the tools and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
- Work closely with department leaders to identify staffing needs and implement strategies that promote employee retention and satisfaction.
- Performance management will be an integral aspect, guiding supervisors on best practices for evaluating and developing their teams.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, staying up-to-date with regulations and implementing necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, and generating reports to guide decision-making.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution will be part of your responsibilities.
- Lead efforts to build an inclusive workplace, championing diversity initiatives and promoting a culture of respect and collaboration across the organization.
- Develop innovative strategies to enhance employee engagement and communication will be a priority.
- Play an active role in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in HR processes and practices to meet organizational objectives effectively
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7-10 years of progressively more responsible positions in Human Resources (incl. two years in a management level position), preferably in a skilled nursing organization
- Two (2) years as a Human Resources Generalist, including training and development, benefits, compensation and employee relations
- SPHR or PHR certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide useful and strategic advice and input across the Agency and on the Leadership team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the organization
- Ability to understand technical written materials; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer proficiency (esp. Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, etc.)
Salary: $110,000 annually
