Project Manager, Multi-Family Construction
Southern California
Reports to: COO
Compensation: $85,000 to $125,000 DOE + performance-based incentive compensation + profit-sharing contribution eligibility
We are a Southern California finish carpentry subcontractor seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple multifamily residential projects for general contractors throughout the region.
This is a key role in our company. We need someone who is highly organized, experienced in residential construction in Southern California, and understands the pace, complexity, and moving targets that come with managing multiple active jobs. Finish carpentry experience is strongly preferred.
Just as important, we are looking for the right fit. Our team values people who are resourceful, take ownership of their responsibilities, communicate extremely well, and believe in “we before me.” We work hard, move fast, and expect accountability. Our office culture is informal, and we like to laugh, but we take the work seriously and treat each other with respect.
If you want a place to hide, avoid making decisions, or blame others when things get messy, this is not the right fit. If you are the kind of person who jumps in, solves problems, keeps people informed, and takes pride in doing your part well, we would like to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee multiple multi-family finish carpentry projects across Southern California
- Coordinate with general contractors, other specialty trade contractors, superintendents, field teams, vendors, and internal staff

- Identify issues early and solve problems before they become bigger setbacks
- Communicate clearly and professionally with field and office teams
- Use multiple programs and company systems to keep projects organized and moving
- Make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
- Report directly to the COO and help support strong project execution across the company

Compensation, Incentives, and Growth
We believe in building a stable team for the long term. Our compensation model is designed to support that. We do not lead with inflated base salaries that become hard to sustain when the market turns. Instead, we look for people who want to prove their value, contribute meaningfully to the business, and grow with the company.
This position includes:
- Competitive base salary based on experience
- Incentive compensation tied to project performance
- Profit-sharing contribution eligibility when the company performs well
- Clear opportunity for advancement and increased compensation based on contribution, capability, and results
We work in an industry that cycles up and down. Our goal is to run the company responsibly so we can keep good people employed for the long term, and when the company is profitable, we believe in sharing that success with the team.
Why Join Us
This is a real opportunity for someone who wants to become an important part of a growing company, work directly with leadership, and build a long-term career in a role that matters.
