- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety.
- Conduct custodial duties such as restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to promote hygiene standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting issues that require professional attention.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, including deep cleans of large areas or specialized environments.
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed promptly and thoroughly to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care such as buffing and polishing.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies; experience with industrial cleaning preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts.
- Nice-to-have skills include experience in facilities maintenance, porter work, residential painting, or other maintenance-related activities.
