Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a PRN (as-needed) Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse settings. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting comprehensive evaluations using your physiology knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
- Design and implement tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics interventions, and rehabilitation exercises.
- Support discharge planning by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home or community settings.
- Provide hands-on patient care in inpatient, outpatient, home health, or clinic environments, ensuring safety and comfort throughout treatment sessions.
- Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and self-care techniques to promote long-term health.
- Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, maintaining detailed records of treatments provided and outcomes achieved.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient recovery trajectories, especially in specialized areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care settings.
Experience
- Proven experience working in inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, or home health environments with a focus on patient care delivery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physiotherapy practices across diverse populations.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and treatment planning purposes.
- Prior involvement in discharge planning processes within acute care or community settings.
- Experience providing physiotherapy services for pediatric or geriatric patients is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures related to orthopedics, trigger point therapy, and other physiotherapy modalities.

Pay: $95.00 - $105.00 per hour
