Overview
Seeking an honest, dedicated, dependable and motivated person interested in a rewarding career as a water well system field technician. Duties include; diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic well control systems and well plumbing systems. Must be able to represent the company to other agencies, customers, and potential customers with a courteous, helpful, accurate and business-like attitude, and always display a commitment to Customer Service. This person will ultimately work from a stocked company pump truck, managing inventory, tools and materials organization and consistently performing quality "fix it right the first time" service to our customers.
Experienced service technician and/or certified plumber or certified electrician desired. Will train the right applicant. Pay depending on applicable experience.
Other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements
HS diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no DUI within the past 3 years) to operate company vehicles.
Strong mechanical skills to repair related water equipment
Experience with electrical principles and diagnosis using multimeters and wiring diagrams
Experience with plumbing principles and related tools, including copper sweating
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize workloads.
Required to work weekends and on-call, based on a rotating schedule.
Operating knowledge of computers and related software.
Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and safely work with heavy equipment.
Compensation based on experience.
