Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food handling, storage, and replenishment to ensure freshness and safety
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations
- Follow food safety management practices diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory
- Experience with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual handling tasks safely
