Optometric Technician
Visionary Eye Care is a privately owned optometry practice serving the North Broomfield and Erie, Colorado communities. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optometric Technician to join our growing team.

Optometric technician or medical assisting experience is required.
What You’ll Do
As an Optometric Technician, you will play an important role in providing a smooth and positive patient experience while supporting our doctors and clinical team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients with a friendly, professional attitude
- Performing comprehensive pre-testing including autorefraction, lensometry, corneal topography, OPTOS retinal imaging, OCT, visual field testing
- Providing insertion and removal training for new contact lens wearers
- Ordering, receiving, and dispensing revenue contact lenses
- Maintaining, organizing, and filling trial contact lens trays through monthly inventory orders
- Assisting with front desk and optical responsibilities as needed
- Answering phones and assisting with patient scheduling
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has previous optometric technician or medical assisting experience
- Provides excellent customer service and enjoys working with patients
- Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Can confidently multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Is comfortable learning and using diagnostic technology
- Works well independently while also being a collaborative team player
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to jump in wherever needed
- Takes pride in providing a high-quality patient experience
Schedule
Our office hours are:
- Monday: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
The technician will be regularly scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with additional days determined based on the candidate's availability and office needs.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
