Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Infrastructure Risk Prevention (IRP) Technician to support the monitoring, maintenance, and reliability of critical FAB infrastructure and facility systems. This role is responsible for responding to equipment failures, utility disruptions, and facility alarms to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, can work independently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to minimizing downtime while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Job Description for Infrastructure Risk Prevention (IRP) Technician:
- Monitor critical FAB infrastructure and facility systems during assigned shifts.
- Respond promptly to alarms, equipment malfunctions, and utility system failures to reduce operational downtime.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair facility infrastructure and critical equipment issues independently.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and infrastructure systems.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and safety teams during equipment failures and emergency situations.
- Initiate containment measures and escalate complex or high-risk issues as required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including LOTO, PPE, and emergency response protocols.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, incidents, and shift reports in maintenance management systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Skills Required for Infrastructure Risk Prevention (IRP) Technician:
- Experience supporting semiconductor FAB infrastructure, cleanroom environments, or similar industrial facilities.
- Experience performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
Education/Training/Certifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Plumbing License and/or Journeyman Pipefitter certification required.
