Company Overview
KD Finechem USA is a global automotive chemical manufacturer specializing in antifreeze/coolant, brake fluid, and washer fluid products. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support product quality verification and laboratory testing operations for automotive chemical products.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and laboratory testing for coolant, brake fluid, washer fluid, and related chemical products
- Conduct routine tests including pH, specific gravity, concentration, appearance, viscosity, and other quality evaluations
- Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
- Maintain accurate QC records, test reports, and inspection documentation
- Support product sampling and retain sample management
- Assist with investigation of quality issues and corrective actions
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow safety procedures for handling chemical materials and laboratory equipment
- Support compliance with customer quality standards and internal SOPs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Previous laboratory or quality control experience preferred
- Experience with chemical handling and testing equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate documentation
- Basic computer skills required
- Understanding of OSHA and chemical safety procedures preferred
Work Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime may be required based on demand)
