Job Title: Moving Specialist / Mover Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our moving team. As a Moving Specialist, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading moving trucks, handling customers’ belongings with care, and ensuring efficient moves to and from homes and businesses. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload moving trucks with household or office items.
- Protect furniture and fragile items with appropriate wrapping and padding.
- Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed.
- Follow company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy items (80+ lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Previous experience in moving, warehousing, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver’s license is a must.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and professional appearance
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
