Compensation Range: $42 - 47 per hour
Our client is seeking a high-energy, creative Bilingual Copywriter (English/Spanish) to sit at the core of the creative engine. In this role, you won't just perform line-by-line translation, you will lead transcreation and original copy creation across high-growth verticals, including Sportsbook, Casino, Jackpocket, and CRM campaigns.
You'll be fully embedded alongside a talented team of 7+ copywriters, designers, and project managers, taking existing English marketing assets and adapting them into culturally relevant, high-performing Spanish creative (while jumping in to write original English copy as bandwidth allows!).
Responsibilities:
- Transcreation & Copy Adaptation: Translate, transcreate, and adapt marketing copy from English to Spanish across digital, CRM, social, paid media, display, and direct response channels-ensuring high engagement while preserving brand voice.
- Original Copywriting: Write original English and Spanish marketing copy for app store pages, landing pages, digital ads, and promotional messaging as bandwidth permits.
- Embedded Team Collaboration: Partner daily with creative leads, design managers, project managers, and legal stakeholders to deliver compliant, sharp, and high-impact messaging.
- Workflow & Precision: Manage multiple rapid-turn projects in Airtable, maintaining extreme attention to detail for promotional offers, terms/disclaimers, and regional nuances.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ Years of Copywriting Experience: Proven background in performance marketing, digital copy, localization, or transcreation in fast-paced creative environments.
- Bilingual Fluency (Spanish/English): Exceptional written and verbal command of both languages.
- Portfolio Requirement: A portfolio featuring Spanish-first marketing copy samples (digital ads, CRM, landing pages, or transcreation examples) is strongly preferred.
- Digital & Performance Focus: Experience in short-form performance marketing across digital, social, and direct response channels.
- Tools & Systems: Proficiency in Google Docs/Slides, Airtable, Slack, and Zoom (familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or AI localization tools like ChatGPT/Gemini is a plus!).
- TimeZone Alignment: Ability to work or maintain strong morning overlap with US East Coast (ET) business hours.
Prior experience or a strong personal passion for sports, casino/iGaming, lottery, or entertainment media.
