Industrial Technician Job Description
Great Lakes Vacuum is located in Comstock Park, Michigan. We are one of the industry’s leading providers of rebuilding and remanufacturing services for Industrial Vacuum Pumps and Blowers. We are also one of the industry’s largest suppliers of associated parts and accessories.

- Hard-working, self-starting, responsible technician;
- Capable and thorough with regards to breaking down a product to repair, estimating the associated effort to rebuild, rebuilding the product, testing, and preparing the product for shipment;
- 1st shift;
- Work on both solo and team-oriented projects;
- Collaborate with fellow co-workers – often times working as a team member on different aspects of same project;
- Interested in a job-oriented environment (not a production line) as our rebuilds require troubleshooting and are often unique from the last project completed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years experience preferred in a comparable industry with significant mechanical aptitude;
- Comfortable and knowledgeable with machinery, hand tools, precision measurement, and pneumatics;
- Hi-lo driving experience preferred;
- 2-year or 4-year Technical Degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent acceptable.
