CNC Programmer Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and proficiency in various programming languages and tools. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing programs for CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production standards.
Responsibilities
- 5 yrs of prior CNC Programming/Operating Experience
- Ability to set up Dies and Offline Program, Run Tools
- Experience with Overhead crane and Hilo to load tools into mills
- Experience in Kirksite Machining.
- Familiarity with WorkNC Software
- Familiarity with Fadal, Eumach, Viper CNC's
- Familiarity with Fadal, Selca, Funac Controllers
- Experience with 3-Axis Milling
- G & M Code Experience
Requirements
- Proficient in CNC programming with experience in Fanuc controls preferred.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
- Familiarity with CAM programming software and CAD applications.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and coordinate measuring machines.
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
