Vice President of Operations

Pacific Retirement Services is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to provide strategic operational leadership for a portfolio of PRS communities. This role may be performed remotely; however, candidates must be based in Oregon, California, Washington, or Arizona and be available for frequent travel across the assigned portfolio.
In this role, you will serve as a key operational partner to Executive Directors, helping translate enterprise strategy into strong community execution. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can balance strategy with execution, build trusted relationships, strengthen operational consistency, and drive results across resident experience, workforce engagement, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth.
Pay: $232,000 - $280,000 annually, depending on experience with consideration for geographic location.
What you’ll be doing
As Vice President of Operations, you will partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure organizational priorities are consistently executed across assigned communities. You will coach and support Executive Directors, monitor operational and financial performance, strengthen accountability, and help ensure each community is positioned for long-term success.
You will also play an important role in advancing the PRS Mission, Vision, and Core Values while supporting a culture of service excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone who has:

Progressive multi-site leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or a related industry

Demonstrated success driving operational performance, financial results, occupancy, quality, and organizational change

Strong ability to coach, develop, and hold senior leaders accountable

Experience working with Executive Directors, boards, residents, corporate partners, and external stakeholders

A data-informed approach to decision-making and continuous improvement

A deep commitment to resident-centered leadership and service excellence
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required. A master’s degree, Nursing Home Administrator license, and experience with Continuing Care Retirement Communities or Life Plan Communities are preferred.

This role may be based may be based in Oregon, California, Washington, or Arizona. Frequent travel, including overnight travel, is required throughout the assigned portfolio.
