Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to support daily receiving dock, production, inventory, sales movement, and transportation coordination activities. This position plays an important role in tracking product movement, communicating with internal teams and lateral customers, coordinating truck activity, supporting billing documentation, and helping ensure product quality and timely movement throughout the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory coolers each morning and report inventory levels to plant leadership.
Receive daily orders from lateral customers and communicate order needs to the management team.
Communicate daily sales, special instructions, product timing, and quality concerns to receiving dock, production, shipping, customer service, and management teams.
Direct truck drivers making deliveries and communicate any required pickups or backhauls.
Gather tickets for trucks being loaded, create sales orders and bills of lading, sign BOLs, and provide required paperwork to drivers.
Track supplies moving in and out of Fresh Pack for lateral customers and enter supply activity into Produce Pro.
Communicate truck timing and product movement updates to lateral customers.
Perform raw material inspections and approvals.
Monitor product quality, downgrades, over-picks, cancelled product, and related inventory concerns.
Resolve or communicate supply, billing, accounting, credit, and debit memo issues as needed.
Coordinate product pickups, trucking needs, driver schedules, and straight truck backhauls.
Collect and route all required paperwork from lateral truck drivers for both pounds sold and pounds purchased.
Support industrial sales activity, including pallet placards, shipping cooler organization, product quality checks, and daily mushroom forecast updates.
Communicate with farms regarding mushroom needs, timing, order changes, and daily farm orders.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives involving truck drivers and product movement.
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skill
Previous experience in inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, production, agriculture, food manufacturing, or a related operational environment preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with drivers, customers, farms, production, shipping, receiving, customer service, accounting, and management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfortable working with paperwork, bills of lading, sales orders, product tickets, inventory records, and system entries.
Basic computer skills required; experience with Produce Pro or similar inventory/logistics systems preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate product timing, quality, supply, or billing concerns in a timely manner.
Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and support team needs across departments.
Knowledge of product quality, raw material inspection, trucking coordination, or mushroom/produce operations is a plus.
Work Environment
This role supports operations in the receiving dock and production environment and requires regular communication with internal teams, lateral customers, farms, and truck drivers. The position may involve time in coolers, shipping areas, receiving areas, and production-related workspaces.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
