Manda Machine Company is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join our milling department. This role is well-suited for someone who takes pride in precision work, understands process discipline, and values a clean, well-run shop.
We are a stable aerospace and defense machine shop focused on quality, consistency, and doing the job right the first time.
This role is intended for experienced CNC machinists with hands-on metal machining experience. Applicants should be comfortable setting up and running CNC mills and/or lathes, making offsets, and inspecting parts to customer drawings. This is not a production operator, woodworking, or assembly-line position.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on CNC milling experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Experience operating 3-axis, 3+2, and/or 5-axis CNC mills
- Working knowledge of G-code fundamentals
- Ability to inspect parts to customer drawings and specifications
- CAM programming experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with AS9100D or aerospace work is preferred
- Basic computer skills for ERP and job tracking
Responsibilities
- Set up and run CNC mills using provided setup sheets and tool lists
- Perform in-process and final inspections to verify part compliance
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary offsets or adjustments
- Perform basic machine maintenance and care
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Accurately log job activity and production data in the ERP system
- Support other shop tasks as needed to keep work moving efficiently
