The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by owning the full lifecycle of inbound sales engagement - from initial inquiry through qualification, close, and handoff. This position is a true closing role, not a traditional Business Development Representative (BDR) function, combining inbound conversion, consultative selling, and disciplined pipeline management.
You will engage directly with decision-makers, uncover business needs, and position IDScan.net’s solutions as high-impact tools for compliance, security, and operational efficiency.

Own and manage all inbound sales inquiries, converting interest into qualified opportunities

Generate pipeline through timely inbound engagement, supplemented by selective outbound prospecting including calls, email campaigns, and social selling

Conduct discovery conversations with key stakeholders to identify pain points and business needs

Qualify opportunities and either advance deals directly or schedule highvalue meetings for senior sales leaders

Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to optimize messaging, targeting, and campaign performance

Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within CRM systems

Prepare account insights, use cases, and context to ensure productive sales engagements

Continuously test and implement new outreach and lead generation strategies

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

13+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, inside sales, or business development

Experience in hospitality, nightlife, or restaurant environments (e.g. bars, restaurants, hotels, or similar venues) is a plus, but not required.

Proven ability to manage inbound leads and generate outbound pipeline

This role is based at IDScan.net’s New Orleans headquarters, with remote flexibility available. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with occasional extended hours based on business needs. This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.
