Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Stretch Therapist to join our wellness team! In this role, you will deliver specialized stretching services designed to enhance flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and promote overall physical well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and fitness goals through personalized stretching techniques, trigger point therapy, and targeted massage modalities. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify individual needs, limitations, and goals.
- Develop customized stretching routines incorporating techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and trigger point therapy.
- Perform various massage therapies including prenatal massage and occupational health treatments to address specific client concerns.
- Educate clients on proper stretching practices, injury prevention, and pain management strategies.
- Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress notes and treatment plans.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on stretching techniques and trigger point therapy.
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy and pain management.
- Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as med spa experience or occupational health are a plus.
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate clearly.
- Familiarity with prenatal massage practices and sports massage modalities preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in medical or wellness settings that emphasize client communication and pain management is highly desirable.
