Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide lunch time and nap assistance to the staff of Almost Home.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Spoon feed and/or bottle feed young infants.
- Change diapers and ensure children"s faces and hands are clean.
- Pat children to sleep.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for young children.
- Communicate effectively with family members regarding the child's daily activities.
- Accurate and timely documentation of care and activities.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages independence while providing necessary assistance.
- Commitment to a part time schedule of Monday through Friday,11:00am to 2:00pm.
Qualifications
- Experience working with infants, toddlers or young children.
- Background in babysitting, childhood development, or early childhood education is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of caregiving principles and practices.
- Certification in First Aid is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with parents and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for this role.
