Job Overview
Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM. Must be at least 25 years of age with a clean driving record.
- This is an opportunity for a rewarding position at our beautiful 12 acre property. You will spend much of your time on your feet running activities, transporting residents, and moving supplies, which may involve pushing wheelchairs and lifting equipment.
- This role requires the ability to work comfortably in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and enrich their daily lives, and help them stay connected with the world around them.
· Must supervise and direct stimulating activities for all residents including those with special needs. This will include activities of daily living, participation in social activities on and off campus and provision of companionship and emotional support to all residents.
· Provide or cause to be provided transportation for resident activities via golf cart or Ford Flex when necessary.
· Maintain a congenial atmosphere among fellow workers and a sense of team work in conjunction with Activities. To extend a spirit of common courtesy and hospitality to residents and fellow workers alike. Must be available to work the hours directed by supervisor to carry out activities.
· Maintain all activity supplies in a neat and orderly fashion. Keep inventory of supplies. Clean and organize closets that need it.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor(s).
· Assist with Hospitality Hour and other after hour special activities. Must be available that evening each month.
· Able to work hours as required by management.
· Must be available during inclement weather and hurricanes as required by management; assist with preparation and recovery as needed.
· Ensure that all activities are coordinated in compliance with company regulations and that all Federal and State Regulations are followed.
· Must be able to implement group activities.
· Able to work and communicate with residents, management, associates and volunteers.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
