As Operations/Production Manager, you will work directly with the CEO to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company. You will be responsible for keeping production running smoothly, coordinating priorities across departments, improving operational processes, and ensuring the company consistently delivers high-quality products on time.
This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-growing manufacturing company. One moment you may be reviewing production schedules or negotiating with suppliers; the next you may be helping solve a manufacturing issue on the production floor. Responsibilities
· Oversee daily manufacturing and production operations.
· Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
· Manage inventory, purchasing, suppliers, and production planning.
· Improve manufacturing workflows and operational processes.
· Coordinate priorities between engineering, production, sales, and the CEO.
· Track KPIs and provide regular operational reporting.
· Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a small production team.
· Support hiring, onboarding, and employee development.
· Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and cost control.
· Ensure new product launches transition smoothly from engineering into production.
· Assist the CEO with operational planning and company growth initiatives.
· Pitch in wherever needed—this is a small company where everyone contributes.
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or production management.
· Experience working in a small company or startup where adaptability and initiative are essential.
· Proven ability to build processes and improve operational efficiency.
· Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
· Ability to lead small teams while remaining hands-on when needed.
· Experience managing vendors, purchasing, inventory, and production schedules.
· Comfortable balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in electronics manufacturing or professional audio.
· Familiarity with PCB assembly, SMT manufacturing, and electronics production.
· Experience with ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems.
· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
· Experience supporting new product introductions from engineering through production.
