Job Summary
Neighborhood Drugs of Davie is looking for a friendly and organized Pharmacy Technician to assist patients and medical offices by phone. This role focuses on answering calls, processing requests, and coordinating medication deliveries while supporting daily pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from patients, doctors’ offices, and healthcare providers
- Assist with prescription requests, refill coordination, and general pharmacy inquiries
- Schedule and coordinate medication deliveries
- Communicate with medical offices regarding prescriptions and clarifications
- Enter prescription information and update patient profiles in the system
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients
- Assist the pharmacist and technicians with workflow when needed
Qualifications
- Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous pharmacy or medical office experience preferred
- Strong phone communication and customer service skills
- Good computer and data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
