We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team at the Windjammer. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, custodial duties, and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on floor care and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping floors to ensure a clean environment.
- Keep trashes emptied throughout the day.
- Conduct thorough commercial cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are safe and functional.
- Handle cleaning duties as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to keep the premises in good condition.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with a focus on commercial cleaning.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
