This position offers flexible AM shift (6:00AM-2:00PM) and PM shift (2:00PM-10:00PM) hours perfect for those eager to grow in the hospitality industry while balancing other commitments.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and personalized service.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA.
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations with precision, utilizing hospitality reservation systems to maximize occupancy.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Assist guests with special requests, including room changes or additional services, demonstrating strong customer service problem-solving skills.
- Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and escalating issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support night audit procedures and perform basic administrative tasks to ensure smooth overnight operations.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures confidently to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality management and property upkeep.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management is preferred.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), like OPERA or similar platforms, is essential for managing reservations and guest data accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, problem-solving, and conflict resolution are required.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures ensures preparedness in handling unforeseen situations confidently.
- Excellent phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette are vital for representing our brand positively.
