Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations during second shift. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met, while driving continuous improvement on the plant floor.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support production employees during the 2nd shift.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Monitor workflow, labor utilization, and equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate as needed.
- Complete shift reports, production metrics, and documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and other departments.
- Lead by example to promote teamwork, accountability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper inventory control and material flow.
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or factory settings is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of assembly lines, mechanical systems, and factory operations.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory or team lead roles preferred.
- Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
