- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic health record (EHR) systems to document billing activities and update patient information accurately.
- Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility prior to service delivery to facilitate smooth claim processing.
- Collaborate with dental staff to clarify treatment procedures and ensure proper coding for each patient encounter.
- Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, claim submissions, and payment histories for audit purposes.
