Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fiberglass Technician to join our marine repair team. This role focuses on structural and cosmetic fiberglass work on a wide range of vessels, from small center consoles to larger offshore boats.
Responsibilities
- Perform fiberglass repairs, laminating, grinding, fairing, and gelcoat application
- Diagnose structural issues and execute proper repair procedures
- Complete cosmetic refinishing, color matching, blending and surface restoration
- Work with resins, fillers, core materials, and composite components
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all shop safety standards
- Document work performed and communicate clearly with service managers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of fiberglass/composite repair experience (marine preferred)
- Ability to produce clean, professional cosmetic finishes
- Strong work ethic and ability to work without constant supervision
- Comfort working outdoors or in a shop environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work safely with hazardous materials.
- Team player with good communication skillsEducation and Training
- A high school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
