Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their meal
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items, beverages, and specials to enhance guest experience
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and resetting dining areas for new guests
- Manage cash handling accurately and process payments using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Experience in fine dining environments or with cocktail and spirits service is advantageous
- Knowledge of wine pairing and beverage menus enhances guest interactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Commitment to food safety practices and sanitation standards in all aspects of service
