American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with strong Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, and Robotics experience for a 13-week OR assignment at a major academic medical center in Atlanta, GA.

Call required: 48–60 hours every 4-week period, including weekend call

On-call staff have access to on-site call rooms during their call shifts

Minimum of 18 months of surgical technologist experience required

Strong Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, and Robotics experience required

Travel experience preferred

National certification or education verification required per State of Georgia requirements

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

License required if applicable

All candidates are interviewed by the Nurse Manager

First-time travelers may want to confirm eligibility, as travel experience is preferred

Former permanent staff of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum separation of 18 months is required

RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, and a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday

Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per contract

RTO during holiday periods must be spread out and will not be approved if consecutive days cluster around major holidays

Full SSN and DOB are required for consideration
