Certified Nursing Assistants at Sheridan Medical Lodge work directly on the floor assisting residents with personal care and mobility. You will record vital signs, answer call lights promptly, and communicate changes in resident condition directly to charge nurses. This position focuses on consistent hands-on care and daily routine assistance across our nursing units.
Compensation, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay Rate: Starting at $16/hr, scaling upward with experience ($1,500 Sign-On Bonus for full-time hires)
- Schedule: 12-Hour shifts (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am)

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily personal care, including bathing and dressing.
- Record vital signs and weight measurements accurately in patient charts.
- Help residents safely transfer between beds and wheelchairs using proper equipment.
- Answer call lights promptly and support residents during meal times with feeding assistance.
- Report physical or behavioral changes in residents immediately to the shift supervisor or charge nurse.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Must pass a standard criminal background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
